Hannah is a holistic clinical nutritionist (BHSc Nutritional Medicine) with a special interest in brain and gut health. Hannah helps people improve their physical and mental health through highly-individualised diet and lifestyle recommendations, and through delicious plant-centric recipes.

For Hannah, nutrition is about so much more than weight-loss, it’s about creating the internal conditions for optimal health, reducing chronic disease risk and improving an individual’s quality of life and ability to show up as the best version of themselves. It’s preventative rather than reactive, holistic as opposed to reductionist and science-based but accessible to everyone. It’s also about improving a person’s relationship with food, (and themselves!), encouraging them to take greater interest in and responsibility for their health, and helping them find more joy in cooking and, of course, eating!
Hannah aims to cut through the overwhelming amount of information (and mis-information) about health and nutrition that we are bombarded with on a daily basis, in order to give people practical information and tips that they can use to improve their health and transform their lives. Her goal is to inspire people to make big shifts in the way they think about food, make long-lasting changes in the way they feed themselves and the people they love, and to eat (and live) in a way that is kinder to themselves, each other and the planet.
Hannah offers online nutritional consultations, as well as health writing and recipe development for brands and restaurants. She also offers sustainable, plant-based catering, and cooks for health workshops, events and retreats. Her specialties are gut and brain health, the latter being a cause very close to her heart after sadly losing her wonderful grandad to Alzheimer’s Disease. Having struggled with her own mental health throughout her life, Hannah experienced profound changes when she improved her diet, and has seen many of her clients, friends and family, experience the same.

What is protein, why do we need it and why is hemp such a good source?
Hemp seeds and oil are a great way to add a good dose of healthy fats to meals and snacks but before we get to that, let’s take a look at why healthy fats are so important.
