Hemp Chocolate Bites

Not only are these fudgy, rich and delicious, they’re also super healthy with wholesome ingredients.

Ingredients:

– 200g pitted Medjool dates
– 240g raw walnuts
– 30g hemp hearts (plus more for rolling)
– 40g cacao powder or unsweetened cocoa powder (plus more for rolling)
– 50g almond butter
– 15ml coconut oil (melted)
– Small pinch of salt (makes the chocolate more chocolatey)

Method:

  1. Add dates to a food processor and mix until broken down into small bits or until a ball forms. Spoon out and set aside
  2. Add walnuts to the food processor and pulse until fine.
  3. Add cacao, hemps hearts and salt. Pulse a few more times to combine
  4. Add dates back in and almond butter and coconut oil. Mix
  5. Refrigerate for 10mins,
  6. Spoon tablespoon amounts and roll into balls with your palms
  7. Roll in extra hemp hearts or cacao powder
  8. Store in airtight container in the fridge for up to a week, or in freezer for up to a month.
