Ingredients:

100g of hemp hearts

1 litre of water

Honey or Dates to taste

 

Method:

This is a very easy method.

We just add hemp hearts and water together in a blender.

The hemp hearts will break down into creamy milk, but the odd bits of hemp may still be present so feel free to pop it through a strainer.

For extra smooth milk with no bits, you can pop it through a cheesecloth.


You might want to add honey, dates or vanilla extract for flavour.


I personally like to add more hemp hearts and this makes the milk turn into more of a cream, great to add to other dishes or provide a more protein-packed drink, great with other ingredients such as cocoa powder for nice chocolate milk.
